Capiz is a province located in the region of Western Visayas in the central section of the Philippines. Its capital is the City of Roxas. Capiz, which was part of Aklan in pre-Spanish times, and one of the early settlements of the Malays, centuries before the coming of the Spaniards to the Philippines.
